Chief Judge Jerry Wiese took the bench in January 2011 and has presided over numerous trials, both civil and criminal, and many settlement conferences. He served as a Court Appointed Arbitrator for many years and conducted more than 150 arbitration cases. He sat as a pro tem justice of the peace for several years in North Las Vegas, presiding over both civil and criminal cases. During his career as an attorney from 1994 through 2010, he handled cases in personal injury, medical malpractice, construction defect, workers compensation, contract litigation, collections, insurance defense, wrongful death, and insurance bad faith. He is licensed to practice law in both Nevada and Arizona.
